coke boycott

In response to Coca-Cola's human rights abuses, students have initiated campus campaigns to kick Coca-Cola off of college campuses. For the past week or so I made a concerted effort to avoid Coca-Cola products and failed miserably. Here's a short list of drinks available at on-campus dining facilities that are bottled, distributed, or manufactured by a the Coca-Cola company or a subsidary:
  • Barq’s
  • Canada Dry
  • all types of Coke
  • Dartmouth Water
  • Dasani
  • Evian
  • Fanta
  • Fresca
  • Fruitopia
  • Hi-C
  • Mello Yello
  • Minute Maid
  • Nantucket Nectars
  • Nestea
  • Odwalla
  • Orangina
  • POWERade
  • Seagram’s
  • Schweppes
  • Silk Soymilk (parent company half-owned by Coca-Cola)
  • Sprite
  • Yoohoo
Non-Coke products:
  • Hood Milk & Orange Juice
If anyone manages to find a non-Coke drink on campus, please comment. Until then, I'll be drinking Hanover tap water. Yum.

Vitamin Water! That stuff is good! and available at Topside. We should get all the other DDS places to stock it.

There's always Moxie...

Also - I wonder about the different coffee brands on campus?

More unfortunate news: Garelick Farms juice is also Coca-Cola. Same deal as Silk Soymilk-- parent company is half-owned by Coca-Cola
